Can a student house really be so easy, breezy, green and pristine-ly located? Dormitory style and scattered student living pales beside the Grand House! Built and designed by architecture students for architecture students it’s a fantastic solution to Cambridge’s disperse and disparate housing market. As an exchange student it was an especially helpful tool to meet people as it was host to a vast number of architecture gatherings and in close proximity to amenities such as the YMCA gym and the local Ice rink. Uni of course is also just down the road! I absolutely recommend this joint, I had a blast, so will you!!

There is no doubt that the Grand House has been the best place I have ever lived in. From roommate dinners in the kitchen to movie nights on the couch to large potlucks, it was an unforgettable experience. I still can’t forget our last minute Christmas tree one year, where we made chocolate cake and cookies and decorated the tree with aluminum folded cranes and flowers! I can’t wait to live there again and cook in the best kitchen in the world.
